World's Most Powerful Women

Did you know among the first powerful women are "Forbes' power lists are synonymous with moguls and movie stars, heads of state and captains of business.Why else would Lady Gaga (No. 7) and Ellen DeGeneres (No. 10) share top 10 billing with Michelle Obama (No. 1), Irene Rosenfeld, CEO of Kraft Foods (No. 2), Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (No. 5) and Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo (No. 6)? If anything, it's inspiring" It is amazing to know that women are able to overpower men. 

At the top of the list is first lady Michelle Obama becoming the first African-American in the post, she has become a role model to girls and women around the world. She advocates healthy eating and aims to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity with "Let's Move!" campaign.

This example shows that women can change the world! I am glad to know that women can equalize men.

I was a little shocked to know Lady Gaga was ranked number 7 on the list. No offense to any Lady Gaga fans but I think there could of been a better choice. I know she is a famous singer and inspire people around the world. But she wears odd clothes. Maybe it sounds too criticizing but that is my opinion.

School and Technology!

I am focused in school and hope to pass my classes. I am a dedicated person. Taking classes online have resulted to be difficult. I am still trying to get used to everything. Especially timed quizzes and test. Human biology is the most difficult class I ever had. Taking an 83 question test in 30 minutes is not easy. I have never been so stressed out in one class.

While I was looking at the news today and noticed the newest ipod nano version.

Just looking at the amazing features on the new ipod nano makes me want to buy it. Pretty and Shiny! Unfortunately it is too expensive.

There used to be regular big square televisions,  now there are new and improved flat screen televisions. It is amazing how people improve technology drastically.

Time Flies By!

Is it me or does time fly by? I feel like days are turning to weeks so quickly. I barely have time to look at the clock or even the days anymore. The weather is another problem. I know it is Fall but some days it is cold outside and other days it is humid. Could it be global warming?

What is Global Warming?
Global warming is the unusually rapid increase in Earth’s average surface temperature over the past century primarily due to the greenhouse gases released by people burning fossil fuels.

Maybe I am getting ahead of myself. I want to help contribute to make our planet GREEN. I try to drive less and walk more. Walking more can help us live a healthy life. If everyone contributes to help our planet it can make a big difference!

Great Mood

Today seems to go great. Starting online courses is a great experience for me. I spent the day with my sister. My sister had to go to her high school and play in the marching band for the football game. Unfortunately I could not attend the game. Even though I wanted to go I felt like a high school student all over again. I remembered playing in the marching band too. It was an amazing experience. I began playing the saxophone during 7th grade. Ever since then i have been playing for about 6 years. Sadly I had to put away my instrument. Now that I graduated i do not have time to play like I used to. Sometimes I do miss playing but its fading away slowly.
I was not a talented student but at least I tried my best. Learning an instrument was great experience. The first few months all I learned were a few notes and playing on the count. When I joined Symphonic Band in High School I knew it would be fun. Expect there were some perks to playing in the band. The students were forced to play in every home football game. It was not fun at first. I sweated in that horrible marching band suit. Playing songs while everyone else was watching the game. After 3 years playing in the school band i actually enjoyed going to the home football games. Then in my last year of high school I became the leader of the saxophone section. It was a big surprise since all the players were guys. I was the only girl who played the saxophone section. I already miss those old times. But now I am ready for new challenges in life. I am moving forward.

Thoughts through my Mind

Today seems to be a good day. Walking outside. Feeling the breeze go through my face. Feeling happy. I graduated from high school in May. I am scared of growing up. I have to break my bubble and go out there. I want to see the world! Well not literary. I want to go to places. Meet new people. But I also want to focus in college. I want to succeed. I want to be someone with a job and a nice home. I do not want to fall behind. But look forward to the future. In high school I did not think about any of these thoughts. I would go to school every day talk to my friends and complain about my classes. Even though I loved every class I had in high school. I would talk about my crush walking by.
Crush:an intense but usually short-lived infatuation.
My definition of a crush is that you like the person but you never know if you could be with that person. Because in the end your heart will be broken, crushed into pieces. How do you know if he is the one? The one you will stay with forever. To be in love. To only think of that one person. To be fully committed to that one person. I think the key is to wait for that one person. To have patience because that special someone will find you. Does anyone agree with me? Disagree? I would love to know your opinion.

Today is monday. Fresh start to the week. Not very exciting. But who knows? Life suprises us.
